Meet michael
Michael
Michael is a Scottsdale native, has been married for 28 years and has one daughter. He is in his 23rd year as a residential real estate agent in Arizona and has been a multi-million dollar producer every year. Currently his license is active with HomeSmart, the largest broker in the Southwest, where he is a perennial Diamond Club Member. He is a member in good standing with the National Association of Realtors®, Arizona Association of Realtors® and the Scottsdale Association of Realtors®. Michael has also been active in previous years with several residential development and construction projects and has managed several rental properties and tenants.
Prior to going into real estate Michael earned his degree in Finance from Arizona State University and worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for a division of Andrew Corporation, a Fortune 500 company here in Scottsdale and at St. Joseph’s hospital. These opportunities provided extensive experience in business succession planning, budgeting, marketing, accounting, manufacturing/production, negotiating terms with financial institutions and general finance experience.
Most recently, Michael became a member of the Scottsdale Charros. The Scottsdale Charros are an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of business and civic leaders that help build our community by supporting youth sports, education, and charitable causes while preserving Scottsdale’s Western heritage.
Since 2013, Michael has been a member of the Scottsdale based non-profit and 501c3, Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN). He served on their Advisory Board for six years and served as the Event Chair for NHN’s “Shop with a Cop” fundraiser. This event has sponsored thousands of low-income kids over the years and allowed them to go shopping with local law enforcement officers.
Michael is a proud alum of Scottsdale Leadership's Class 33. Currently Michael is serving as Past President on their Board of Directors and was also a group advisor for the class 35 and 36 Project Lead it Forward program.
Michael and his wife are actively involved in the community as the block watch captains. Michael is a past member of the City of Scottsdale's Neighborhood Advisory Commission and is also a Scottsdale Ambassador volunteer. He has hosted private fundraising events for local political candidates, TGen Foundation in Phoenix, as well as volunteered at their annual walk for over 10 years. He also volunteers for the City of Scottsdale providing walking tours of Historical Old Town. In his spare time Michael loves any kind of travel, good food and old cars!
